Giddy up! Come aboard an amazing journey that takes you to the dream-like land of Ladakh and its Tibetan culture! Join us as we guide you through beautiful drives and treks to the Hemis National Park and its wildlife on an experience that’s ought to be etched forever in your life’s history.
Day 1 – Arrive, Relax and Settle Down!
Arrive at paradise alive with clear blue skies and colorful traditions along with the simple colors of architecture – Leh greets you with an open heart and a wide smile. Check in to your hotel and rest in your rooms.
The motive today would be to acclimatize and hence prior rest before tomorrow's exploration is absolutely necessary. You will also be briefed in about the tour by your Tour Manager.
Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 – Soak in the Sunshine of the Monastries!
After breakfast – set on out on a divine course. Visit the picturesque Thiksay Monastery (3600m) in the Indus Valley for morning prayer. Be mesmerized by ancient artworks of wall paintings and statues that adorn the monastery. After one enchanting monastery to another! Head out for a visit to the Shey Monastery/Palace built as a summer residence for Kings and exuberating every bit of grandeur.
Head back to the hotel. We’ve even planned a late afternoon visit to Namgyal Tsemo – a monastery that holds a three-storey high solid gold idol of Maitrieya Buddha . Namgyal Tsemo offers spectacular views of the Zanskar range, the quiet Indus River and the surrounding region.
From Namgyal Tsemo, your next stop is Shanti Stupa that overlooks the city of Leh and gives you a panoramic view of the entire town besides. Another chance for you to indulge in some great landscape photography! Though, at a heaven like Leh, bad photography is rarely possible.
You could head for a short walk through the dynamic Leh Bazaar – we know you just wouldn’t resist those traditional Tibetan items, fancy Ladakhi jewelry, artistic masks and souvenirs!

Day 3 - From Leh to Zingchen
Your adventure begins with a drive to Zingchen where you will set on a 3 hr trek to the quiets of Husing Valley. Now this is where the real fun starts! Set up camp at Husing and prep up for a day hike to the Husing Nallah – where the possibilities of spotting the glorious snow leopards are…. well… possible. So keep your eyes open and your senses sharp – you may just have the chance of seeing the regal white creature.

Day 4: Off to the Coveted - Hemis National Park
After a fulfilling breakfast, drive to Phey located in the Zanskar valley. It is here that our next trek begins (along the Indus River gorge) to the holy grail - Hemis National Park - home to the famous Snow Leopard, Blue Sheep, Ladakhi Urial (a type of goat), great Tibetan sheep (Arghali), red fox, Tibetan wolf, wild dog (dhole), Lynx, marmot and mountain hare.
On arrival set out camp for overnight stay at the park. Dinner & overnight at tent.
Day 5 – Call of the Wild in Hemis National Park
Today’s excitement is the best good wake-up call! After breakfast, find yourself on a trek through the Park and its dry forests of juniper; birch and fir… witnessing the wildlife. You’d be accompanied by an expert who’d be more than happy to shower you with his abundant wealth of information. The Hemis National Park is home to blue sheep, argali (a large horned sheep), numerous mountain and migratory birds, as well as an occasional Tibetan wolf and many more (besides the graceful Snow Leopards) and you will only find any of them if you are alert all the time. So keep your eyes peeled and ears open, and occasionally take the time to scan the slopes ahead with a pair of binoculars.
Day 6 – Back to Leh with a Trek to Zingchen
Your return journey starts today. After Breakfast, set out on a short 2 hour trek back to the scenic Zingchen from whereon you’d set on a drive through mesmerizing roads to the dream that’s collectively known as Leh.

Day 7 - Departure
Your adventure ends today. After your last round of delicious Leh breakfast – bid adieu to the land and its colorful mountains, clear blue sky and silence.
